Ma Mihi/ Vision

Youth Inspire is dedicated to creating impactful pathways for our rangatahi from the ages of 15 - 24 empowering them to realise their potential through education, training, and meaningful employment opportunities.
We focus our efforts on hapori that face high youth unemployment, where we work tirelessly to break down barriers and build brighter futures.
As a dynamic and growing organisation in Lower Hutt, Youth Inspire was founded in response to the urgent need to address youth unemployment and improve the lives of rangatahi. Since our inception,
we have forged strong, collaborative relationships with community leaders and organisations ,
business partners, and government entities.

Employability Programmes

Our programmes help rangatahi (youth) aged 15-24 develop key employability skills through a combination of workshops and work experience. It focuses on the seven essential skills employers look for, with the goal of preparing ranagathi for the workforce. The programme includes 18-20 hours of skill-building interactive workshops, community service, and up to 80 hours of work experience with local businesses, providing practical learning and community engagement. All within a supportive environment, with an awesome passionate team behind all our rangatahi!

I felt supported because I was given the opportunity to work for a company that best suited me, and they listened to me and didn’t throw me in a job and forget about me
