Are your programmes and services free?

Our Driving School and our Employment Programme are free.

Do I need to have finished school to do the programme or get some help?

No. It doesn’t matter if you have no NCEA levels - you can still do our programme and get help.

I find reading, writing and math hard, can I still do your programmes?

Yes. This isn’t like school. We have activity based learning which teaches skills that will help you get a job.

Do I need to be drug free to get support?

No. Although being drug free will provide you more employment opportunities. If becoming drug free is your goal, we can help with this.

Do I have to have work experience or have worked before?

No. You will get work experience on our Youth Employability Programme.

Do you help with apprenticeships and support into specific areas of work?

Yes. We talk to you to try and figure out what will be a good career for you. This could be something you’ve always wanted to do or perhaps something you’ve never heard of before!

I don’t have any ID – can you help with this?

Yes we can help get your ID free so that you can get your Learner Driver Licence and ensure you are work ready!

If I got fired from my job, can you still help me look for a new one?

Yes. Doing our Youth Employability Programme, we will be able to work with you to figure out what went wrong and what the next steps are so that you succeed in your next job.

I just want help to get a job, do I have to do your programme?

No, but when you meet with one of our Youth Advisors, they will talk to you about what support you need from us. If you are work ready then we can help you update your CV and cover letter and give you interview prep.

I have a criminal record and/or charges, will you still work with me?

Yes. We can help you better understand what the charges are and if they will effect what type of job you can apply for.
